This stunning Bronte home presented a unique opportunity to create a breathtaking attic conversion with a show-stopping architectural feature. The homeowners wanted a spacious home office with abundant natural light. We designed and installed a custom skylight directly over the stairwell, creating a dramatic light well that floods both the staircase and attic with sunshine. The elegant timber balustrade with square spindles complements the coastal aesthetic, while the dark plush carpet adds warmth and comfort. A striking modern circular pendant light hangs through the double-height space. The 30 square metre office space features additional skylights, split-system air conditioning, and 10 square metres of hidden storage - the perfect coastal work retreat.

The Challenge
The owner ran a design business from a cramped spare room with poor natural light. They wanted an inspiring, light-filled studio but had no room to extend the footprint of their beachside home.
Our Solution
We built a 30sqm office with a show-stopping custom skylight over the stairwell, creating a double-height light well. A timber balustrade, split-system air conditioning and 10sqm of hidden storage complete the space.
