This Bexley North family wanted to create the ultimate kids media room and retreat space in their unused attic. We designed and installed a striking floating timber staircase with white steel spine and timber post balustrade that has become the centrepiece of the home. The finished space features a dramatic triangular gable window that floods the room with natural light, multiple skylights, premium timber flooring, and a glass balustrade at the stair opening for safety. The result is a stunning multi-purpose family room perfect for movie nights, gaming, and relaxation.

The Challenge
With three kids and their friends constantly around, the family living room was always taken over. The parents wanted a dedicated kids' media and play zone to reclaim the main living area.
